Bush Play

During terms 1, 2 and 3 families with a child on the Kinder waitlist for the following year are invited to join off-site bush sessions with our Middlies 1-2 teacher Hana. These Friday-morning sessions (held three times per term) give parents/carers and their pre-kinder children the chance to connect, explore nature, and experience our approach to play and risk-taking.

Kinder orientation consists of short weekly sessions held during Term 4 in the year before children start Kindergarten. These sessions take place in the Kinder classroom with the Kinder teacher and Teacher Assistant. These sessions are for students enrolled in Kinder at Cottage School for the following year. We strongly encourage participation as the sessions help children build confidence and feel prepared for beginning school.
