The Cottage School
Youth Speak Out is an annual education initiative run by Reconciliation Tasmania celebrating students views on Aboriginal affairs. Our 2021/22 Biggies students entered the Youth Speak Out and many of their works were chosen to be part of the travelling exhibition currently at the State Library, see the previous post link for more information on this initiative and to view the chosen works. Our current Biggies, 2024, visited the exhibition to view this work. What a thrill to see such beautiful, evocative and thoughtful pieces from previous students, inspiring the current cohort, some of whom are siblings of the artists! Congratulations Kath on nurturing their creative and social capacities. If you'd like to view the exhibition: 24 November 2023 – 24 March 20249:30 am – 5:00 pmAllport Library and Museum of Fine Arts, State Library of Tasmania,Ground Floor, 91 Murray St, Hobart.#thecottageschoolbellerive#cottageschoolbellerive ...
